We will develop creative options through experience based solutions, deliver results, and assist with implementation at the highest level of teamwork and integrity.

Company History
ACT was part of Veneman Equipment Services Company (Vesco), the first Toyota Industrial Equipment dealership east of the Mississippi River. The company was founded in 1951. We became Vesco Material Handling Equipment, Inc. under the current ownership in 1973. In 1999, we changed our name to Atlantic Coast Toyotalift for better marketing visibility.

We currently have five locations: three in North Carolina and two in Virginia. Our home office was relocated to a wonderful facility in Winston-Salem in 2006. Our second branch opened in 1978 in Martinsville, Virginia. Our third location opened in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1993. Our fourth location, in Roanoke, Virginia opened in 2001 and the fifth in Charlotte, NC in 2011 was opened to serve the construction market.

ACT has diligently represented Toyota Industrial Equipment from its introduction. In an effort to supply our customers with the exact product they need, we also carry a number of other lines. We began carrying the Lift-a-Loft line (aerial work platforms) in 1973, Hoist (large capacity forklifts) in 2006, Manitou forklifts in 2008, Takeuchi compact construction equipment in 2009, Advance sweeper and scrubbers in 2014, Tailift forklifts in 2015 and Columbia Parr Car personnel vehicles in 2016. Our years of experience allow us to service our customers at the highest level.
