TOYOTA CERTIFIED
Pre-Requisites: Forklift Operator Certification
Objective: Complete PM’s on all products. Retrieve error codes. Perform non-diagnostic repairs.
Classroom Courses
- T100 — Foundations for Success
- T110 or T111 — Planned Maintenance
Demonstrate competence in performing planned maintenance tasks. Technician can attend the standard course (110) or Service Manager/Mentor Signoff** (111)
- T130 — Mast Inspection and Repair
Safely perform inspection and needed repairs of all material handling components, such as forks, chains, lift brackets and masts.
TOYOTA BRONZE CERTIFICATION
Pre-Requisites: Toyota Certified
Objective: Diagnose and repair I/C and electric issues.
TOYOTA SILVER CERTIFICATION
Pre-Requisites: Toyota Certified; Toyota Bronze Certification
Objective: Diagnose and repair most I/C and electric issues.
Classroom Courses
- T310 — Sit Down Electric Truck Product
This class focuses on the electrical/hydraulic components of Class 1 sit down product. Emphasis is placed on understanding the theory of operation, wiring/hydraulic diagrams, troubleshooting, and repair.
- T320 — Stand Up Electric Truck Product
This class focuses on the electrical/hydraulic components of Class 2 and Class 1 stand up products. Emphasis is placed on understanding the theory of operation, wiring/hydraulic diagrams, troubleshooting, and repair.
- T330 — Class III Electric Truck Product
This class focuses on the electrical/hydraulic components of Class 3 products. Emphasis is placed on understanding the theory of operation, wiring/hydraulic diagrams, troubleshooting, and repair.
- T340 — Toyota Electronic Engine Control Systems
This class focuses on understanding and diagnosis of computerized engine control systems and sensors for Class 4 or 5 internal combustion products. Includes gasoline, diesel and LPG fuel systems, as well as emission systems.

Technicians learn how to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams, symbols, and determine circuit sequence of operation.

Technicians will learn how to read and understand hydraulic symbols, schematics, and hydraulic circuit components.
TOYOTA GOLD CERTIFICATION
Pre-Requisites: Toyota Certified; Toyota Bronze Certification Toyota Silver Certification
Objective: Diagnose and repair all I/C and electric issues with little assistance.
- T410 — Advanced Troubleshooting Classes 1-5
Technicians will be evaluated on their understanding of all Toyota product classes by resolving unit faults. Emphasis is placed on proper use of electronic resources and diagnostic tools while demonstrating their understanding of system operation.
- ASE Certification (USA) OR Red Seal Certification (Canada)
Obtain at least one ASE Certification OR Red Seal Certification
Additional Requirements
- Master Technician Gold Test.
TOYOTA PLATINUM CERTIFICATION
Pre-Requisites: Toyota Certified; Toyota Bronze Certification; Toyota Silver Certification; Toyota Gold Certification Annual Platinum Test
- Annually administered 100 question online test to evaluate a technician’s product knowledge. Available to Gold Level Technicians.
ACT SERVICE TECHNICIAN LEVELS*
Technicians not mentioned here are Toyota Certified.
